26th COREN Engineering Assembly

The 26th Engineering Assembly took place from 7th to 9th August 2017 at the International Conference Center, Abuja. This was organized by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, COREN. The theme was "ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND MANUFACTURING IN NIGERIA: Challenges and Opportunities for a Better Future"

Vaastrop Nigeria Limited was in attendance.

Present in the COREN Assembly were His Excellency, Umaru Tanko Al-Makuna, Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Minister of Science and Technology, Engr. Ogbonaya Onu, (representing the Acting President of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osibanjo), Governor of Bayelsa state represented by his Deputy, Retired Rear Admiral Gboribiogha John-Jonah, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, (Senator rep. Nasarawa West and Former governor of Nasarawa State), Engr. S. Adamu, Minister of Water Resources and ACEN President, Engr Otis Anyaeji FNSE, President Nigerian Society of Engineers, and rest of other top dignitaries and engineering personnel.

Well enriched lectures were delivered by the key speakers and contributions from various participants were welcomed. Plaques and awards were presented to guest speakers and best graduating students respectively.
